  • Hardware and software sales

All services are subject to availability and may be modified without notice.

2. Estimates and Pricing

Any estimate provided by JR Computer Repair is based on the information available at the time of evaluation.

Additional labor, equipment, software, or unforeseen issues may result in additional charges. Customers will be notified before significant additional work is performed.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to:

  • Charge late fees on overdue invoices
  • Suspend services for unpaid balances
  • Require deposits for special orders or large projects

Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes and fees.

4. Hardware and Software

JR Computer Repair is not responsible for manufacturer defects, warranty claims, software licensing restrictions, or third-party service interruptions.

Customers are responsible for ensuring they possess valid software licenses when required.

5. Data Backup and Data Loss

Customers are solely responsible for backing up their data before service begins.

While we take reasonable precautions, JR Computer Repair is not responsible for:

  • Data loss
  • Corrupted files
  • Software failures
  • Hardware failures
  • Lost business income resulting from data loss

We strongly recommend maintaining current backups of all important information.

6. Security Camera Systems

Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding video surveillance and recording.

JR Computer Repair does not provide legal advice regarding camera placement, recording requirements, employee monitoring, or privacy regulations.

Internet connectivity, power outages, weather conditions, and third-party service interruptions may affect system performance.

7. Website Usage

You agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with website operations
  • Upload malicious software
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

We reserve the right to restrict access for violations of these terms.

8. Third-Party Services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Warranties

Labor performed by JR Computer Repair may include a limited warranty as specified on the customer’s invoice or service agreement.

Manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the equipment manufacturer.

Except as expressly stated, services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on JRCompu.com, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design elements, is the property of JR Computer Repair and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

12. Indemnification

Refund & Return Info

 

At JR Computer Repair, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund & Return Policy explains the conditions under which refunds, returns, and service adjustments may be granted.

1. Service Fees

Labor and service fees are generally non-refundable once work has been completed.

Examples include:

  • Computer diagnostics
  • Computer repair services
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Security camera installation labor
  • On-site service calls
  • Remote support services
  • Software installation and configuration

If you are dissatisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 7 days so we can attempt to resolve the issue.

2. Hardware Returns

New hardware purchased through JR Computer Repair may be returned within 14 days of purchase if:

  • The item is unused and in original condition
  • All original packaging, accessories, and documentation are included
  • The item is not a special-order product

A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply.

3. Special Orders

Special-order items, custom-built systems, and products purchased specifically for a customer’s project are non-refundable unless defective.

4. Defective Products

Defective products may be eligible for replacement, repair, or manufacturer warranty service according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

JR Computer Repair will assist customers with warranty claims when possible but cannot guarantee manufacturer approval.

5. Security Camera Systems

Equipment installed as part of a security camera project may be returned only if:

  • The request is made within 14 days of installation
  • Equipment is not damaged
  • Equipment can be safely removed

Installation labor, configuration services, and removal labor are non-refundable.

6. Software and Digital Products

Software licenses, subscriptions, cloud services, VoIP services, and other digital products are non-refundable once activated or delivered.

7. Subscription Services

Monthly services, including cloud services, VoIP services, internet-connected cameras, monitoring services, backups, or managed IT services, may be canceled according to the service agreement.

Previously billed monthly fees are non-refundable.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
